Multi-jurisdiction coordination

Jurisdiction-specific authority

Cross-border matters require separate consideration of jurisdiction, investigative authority, disclosure restrictions and admissibility. A warrant or authorisation in one country does not automatically permit collection or enforcement in another.

Evidence and cooperation

Record the originating authority, lawful collection basis, handling history and any restrictions on onward disclosure. Mutual legal assistance, preservation requests and enforcement coordination must follow the relevant jurisdiction's procedures and competent authorities.

International transfers

Assess applicable data-protection transfer requirements before sharing personal information across borders, including POPIA section 72 where applicable. Pathfinder is not an INTERPOL or FBI system and its docket templates do not imply accreditation or official agency approval.
